Throughout history, infectious diseases have been associated with exclusion. Outbreaks create fear, and fear is a key ingredient for racism and xenophobia to thrive. Have you ever considered just how much damage this has done to the people, on top of the damage already done by the disease itself? Would you like to know just what we can do to break out of this vicious cycle?

Then join EMSA Europe and its EIC team in our panel discussion webinar on “Discrimination in COVID19 times” next Friday on 8th of May 5pm CEST! We will be hosted by a public health specialist and representatives from 2 organisations that advocate for the inclusion of marginalized groups, who have also been targetted during COVID19 times. We are going to discuss social media’s impact on discrimination and the role of youth involvement (especially of NGOs) in the fight against it. You can access more information about our speakers from the poster attached.

We would love to see all of you there with us to participate in the conversation: There will be a 15 minute Q&A session in the end as well where you will be able to ask questions to the panel hosts yourself!
