On October 12th, EMSA was present at the 6th eHealth stakeholder group meeting organized by the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety and the Directorate-General Communications Network of the European Commission.

In the morning session we had the opportunity to present our most important findings from the EMSA survey on the implementation of eHealth in the medical curriculum and express our recommendations towards meeting students needs so that we can become key players in the digital transformation. In the afternoon session, we discussed various topics the stakeholder group has been working on, in particular: Interoperability and standards, care continuum, citizens and data, reimbursement and new and shifting balances.

EMSA was represented by Lina Mosch (European Health Policy Director Elect), Felix Machleid (European Health Policy Director 2017/18) and Justinas Balciunas (EMSA Permanent Officer).
