World Cancer Day 2017

Tomorrow let’s come together to celebrate World Cancer Day. We as medical students are concerned about this global concern! Let’s raise awareness about the risk factors and things you can avoid to prevent cancer! As well as this the Science Pillar invites you to join the global efforts on social media and engage in the PHOTO CONTEST!
Inspired by the World Cancer Day World Cancer Day initiative of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) the instructions sound like this:
All you have to do is take your ball, racket, frisbee, ski, helmet, paddle, hand or any other sport equipment and write the following hashtags: the World Cancer Day hashtag -#WeCanICan and one with your country’s name, e.g. #EMSAPoland. Each photo counts as one point. The country with the most points wins a surprise which will be offered to their National Coordinator at the Spring Assembly. You can either post the photo on your personal wall or publish it on EMSA’s Facebook page ! Only the hashtags count! The contest starts NOW and lasts until Feb 4th midnight CET.
To further show your support change your profile’s cover photo with the ones provided by the World Cancer Day initiative. The cover photos can be accessed here.
Don’t forget to fill in the survey on Access to Essential Medicines!
