EMSA Access in Action, 14-15th September Berlin

Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to attend the first EMSA Access in Action event on September 14-15 in Berlin.

The European Medical Students Association, supported by EU Foster project, is organizing an educational event on Open Access. This two-day event will bring together 40 participants from more than 10 different countries, from all healthcare professions. They will be not only educated, but also trained and equipped to deliver trainings on local and national level and spread knowledge about Open Access. They will be prepared to translate the values and best practices back in their home countries and academic faculties.

About the topics:

We are preparing for you a rich and very diverse agenda that include not only theory on Open Access, but also many trainings and workshop for young researchers. Here are some of the preliminary topics:

  • Open Access for Dummies – basic and essential skills building;
  • “Research Management for young researchers” program development; evaluation and follow up;
  • Scientific writing and publishing in Open Access journals;
  • Open Access in Action- implementing theory into practice;
  • Open Date and Science- medical ethics and legal implications in professional career.

Who can attend: medical students, other healthcare students, law students, young researchers, anyone with interest in Open Access
