1. please tell us about your work ın emsa:

EVITA:

I am leading the team of the Medical Education Pillar and we are working together towards providing the students with the tools to be not only the receptors of their education but also the ones who take active part into forming it.

hazal:

As the Medical Ethics and Human Rights Director in our beloved organization; I carry out campaigns,  coordinate projects and do advocacy to raise awareness on medical ethics and human rights issues. I also help coordinate the event European Week of Ethics (EWE) and attend conferences related to my subject to represent EMSA. Together with my hardworking assistants, we are aiming to get more enthusiasts involved in our projects to make a greater impact across Europe!

2. what is your favourite moment in emsa ?

evita:

The last medical education session that I held during EMSA AA17. All this interaction and excitement of the participants filled me with so much energy at the point where coffee was no more needed.

hazal:

There are many wonderful moments! I can say what I enjoy the most in EMSA is the debates we have where everyone shares their ideas and perspectives on various topics. I believe our members from all over the Europe is the main power of EMSA, and these discussions we held in our events and assemblies help to improve our vision and create a mutual understanding, which also leads to establish the best friendships!

3. what do you dream to do in future ?

evita:

Something that will influence people and foster them to explore their abilities, to raise their voice on issues that concern them. I dream of a nice working environment that I enjoy being in every day. Lastly, I dream of exploring the different cultures and places of the globe alongside with the exploration of myself

hazal:

I believe everyone must have the right to live with dignity, justice and freedom, with this vision I would love to continue working for making sure all people can have equal rights to have a peaceful life.

4. do you have a motto, ıf yes, what ıs ıt ?

evita:

If you try doing something at least once per day then this leads to 365 attempts per year. You may fail in some, but you cannot fail in all 365. Otherwise, don’t give up!

hazal:

Make your difference for the better.

5. What is the definition of emsa blue spirit to you ?

evita:

We might all be distant physically to one another but we can get really close mentally.

HAZAL:

EMSA Blue Spirit is the feeling of solidarity and joy among EMSAi to improve ourselves and EMSA, while enjoying the warm friendships and having the best time together!

6. describe emsa in just three words (Health, europe, together is not allowed):

evita:

Vision, Potential, Dedication.

HAZAL:

Inspirational, Diverse,  Solidarity.

7. now some fun questions.  What Is the most useless talent you have?

evita:

I can touch my nose with my tongue (It could be useful in a parallel universe :P)

HAZAL:

It’s not quite a talent but I’m left-handed, oh and I can roll my tongue:)

8. final question: coffee or tea ?

evita:
