EMSA Treasurer 2017-2018
EMSA Resource Development Officer 2017-2018
1. please tell us about your work ın emsa:
I am responsible for the financial management of our association. I am taking care of the official bank accounts and legal bookkeeping of EMSA Europe. I am also responsible for the collection of membership fees, invoices and receipts.
As Resource Development Officer, I try to bring all kinds of opportunities to EMSA Members. Whether you want to send a package to your friend to Latvia, or a free Summer School in Egypt, I’m the one to help you with that. All sorts of beneficial sponsorships and partnerships are under my supervision. Also, this year, I am trying to handle the Human Resources side within EMSA European Board.
2. what is your favourite moment in emsa ?
When I meet my friends all around Europe on the first day of EMSA international events.
After the majestic European Village Party in AA2017 Budapest, our first time Scottish EMSA member, Ash had to leave for the airport due to an early flight. We said our sad goodbyes and so on, put him in a taxi and went to bed for a couple hours of shut eye; just to find him in the Hotel Lobby in the morning. He mentioned that he liked the atmosphere so much that, just before boarding to the plane, he asked the officers to escort him out of the airport. Last time i had seen him, he was still enjoying the Post GA Trip while i was leaving Hungary.
3. what do you dream to do in future ?
Travel all around the world while helping others and making a difference.
I would like to find a beautiful wife, to have a couple of blonde children, and together enjoy our time in various Biergartens and have some weekend getaways to Southern France to watch the sunset in Côte d’Azur.
4. do you have a motto, ıf yes, what ıs ıt ?
You will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
5. What is the definition of emsa blue spirit to you ?
Blue Spirit is the urge to make a difference, help others, work for a better association and enjoy the time together with other EMSAi!
It is exactly the story above, and also seeing your best friends from 20+ countries twice per year. What can you ask more?
6. describe emsa in just three words (Health, europe, together is not allowed):
Best European Parties 😉
7. now some fun questions. what is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently ?
No fun in the life of a medical student working within the Board!
The patient that i was supposed to perform physical examination was appearently a former Pediatrics Professor. It was quite funny for her, not quite so much for me :D.
8. final question: what movie you can watch over and over and never get tired of ?
do you want to get the know the board better?
Stay tuned for more interviews of the European Board throughout this week. Watch the five minute introduction video to see EMSA through the boards perspective.
